A personal word from Neil

Well, hello Thought I was alone. This web page may not be the "end of the line", but you can see it from here. If you are lost, I can't help you. If you are bored, I probably can't help you there either. But hey, what's a minute or two anyway?

My job is to put the bottom line down for this band. Nothing fancy... Just give the guys something to guide on and keep the drummer from wandering off. Pretty simple, eh? In this band, it's like herding cats. So forgive me a blue note or two now and then. It takes all of my limited attention to keep these guys in line.

Speaking of "these guys"... In my twenty some years of playing music in Ames, I've had the extreme good luck and pleasure to meet, play with and become friends with some of the finest people I've ever known. And Bill too! From band to band, talented musicians, writers and performers, all connected as one big family. One does not find this just anywhere. Of all the bands I've been in, the Sofa Kings are truly the most unique. We play not only songs, but convey our lives and experiences, connected as a band of brothers. We are occasionally entertaining too! I could hardly ask for more.

Thanks for stopping by Still bored? Thought so
